A Land Twice Promised
Humanities Event Opportunity

Post

Come see a one-woman-show, presented by Noa Baum, an Israeli who began a heartfelt dialogue with a Palestinian woman while living in UC Davis graduate student housing. The production, entitled “A Land Twice Promised” weaves together their memories and their mothers’ stories.  Noa creates a moving testimony illuminating the complex and contradictory history and emotions that surround Jerusalem for Israelis and Palestinians alike.

The event will be held at Congregation B’nai Israel, 3600 Riverside Boulevard, Sacramento, Sunday, February 4th, from 7-8:30 pm.  It is free for students or $18 for an entire household.  It is appropriate for ages 12 and up.
