Summer with Land Park Volunteer Corps!
Summer community service hours available
Please join us on Saturdays for our summer park workdays!
Greetings CK McClatchy HS students. The Land Park Volunteer Corps (LPVC) is a Land Park based, Non-Profit that has been organized to assist the City of Sacramento Parks Department in Cleaning, Maintaining and assisting with the Beautification of William Land Park (WLP). We meet 9 times a year, taking a break during the months of December, January and February. We would like to encourage CKM Students who are seeking Volunteer Credits/Assignments to contact the LPVC. Opportunities include:
Team Teen Captains, Team Captains, Unloading and Loading the LPVC Tool Trailer, Food Preparation, etc. LPVC would like to know if CK McClatchy HS volunteer students have enough Leadership drive and desire to further participate in some of the noted functions and job assignments? Students in Leadership positions will receive Volunteer Credits along with the recognition of the LPVC Board for those students preparing to meet for pre-college requirements. Here are the update dates/times for the 2023 Park Work Days.
